My name is Sarah I have loved films ever since I was a jelly tot and I write about movies as often as I can. I want to have a fun blog that people can visit and share their movie thoughts. Follow :)

Okay, one last Star Wars fact. The character of Yoda, who speaks backwards and with riddles of wisdom, was based on the Dalai Lama.
Midway through the filming of "The Empire Strikes Back", George Lucas halted filming as there was an annual wind-surfing competition being held in Australia that he had always gone to, Lucas refused to miss the event.

Believe it or not folks the shortest film ever made lasts just 1 second. The pictures has 24 frames and is directed by Nirvan Mullick. The title speaks for itself "The 1 Second Film". It won't take up much of your time to watch.
The lowest grossing movie ever was "Jerry Maguire" starring Tom Cruise and Rene Zellwegger. Maybe Dorothy had Jerry at hello, but we certainly didn't. The film only managed to gross $5 million.
The longest running movie of all time is "Modern Times Forever" released in March 2011. The films total running time is 240 hours, 14,400 minutes. It takes 10 days to get throught the production!
Anthony Hopkins total screen time in "Silence of the Lambs" is 14 minutes. This makes him the only actor to win an Oscar for such short screen time.
